Nulla
Questo è un tributo ad un racconto che lessi tanto tempo fa scritto da un'amica. Una sorta di remake insomma.
Iniziò due anni fa. Aprii gli occhi dopo la lunga notte, e davanti non mi si parò niente. Non la lampada sul soffitto. Non la libreria a lato del letto. Non la sedia. Neanche il letto stesso c'era, il vuoto era assoluto. Ero solo con me stesso. E rimasi così. Passarono, non so, tre ore, o forse quattro. Fu allora che imparai. La prima a ricomparire fu la sedia. Con un grande sforzo, riuscii a ricostruirla, scheggia per scheggia, chiodo per chiodo. Mi ci vollero almeno venti minuti. Ma alla fine era lì, sospesa nel nulla insieme a me. Decisi poi che avrei dovuto avere un isola a cui aggrapparmi in quel niente. Il letto sarebbe stato il prossimo. Iniziai con la cosa più semplice, le coperte e le lenzuola. Poi le riempii con il materassi, posi le stecche di legno sul telaio che le seguì, e poi le gambe anch'esse di metallo. La libreria fu quella che mi costò più fatica. Ogni singolo libro aveva un identità su cui non potevo sorvolare, ognuno richiedeva il suo tempo. Per cui il resto della mattinata lo passai a dotare di sostanza il nulla tra le orbite vuote degli scaffali. Il comò in confronto era semplice, tra l'altro il mio guardaroba non aveva mai brillato per originalità. E poi ancora la scrivania, e il grande armadio. Soddisfatto mi affacciai dal letto, a scrutare l'insondabile abisso che si apriva di sotto, infinito sin dove poteva arrivare la mente. Non poteva andare. Mattonella dopo mattonella feci anche il pavimento. Erigere le pareti fu la fatica successiva, mentre fu facile chiudere la scatola e togliermi dalla vista di quell'immenso non-cielo. E infine, cardini e battente, la porta. Solo in quel momento finalmente potei alzarmi.
Da allora è così. Ogni mattina. Devo ricreare la mia stanza. Ma non solo. Tutto l'appartamento, e poi se devo uscire, l'ascensore, l'esterno del condominio, la gente che incontro, la macchina. Non c'è niente all'inizio. Devo rifare tutto. Non ce la faccio più. Mi devo ricordare ogni singolo particolare, o potrei fallire, e cosa succederebbe allora? Io... non posso ogni volta rifare tutto, io rimango in casa sempre più spesso. O nella mia stanza, tutto il giorno. Non ce la faccio più. Non ce la faccio proprio più.

haha, ho appena scoperto una sorta di bug del template: si riesce a selezionare il testo normalmente solo fino a dove c’è lo sfondo verde dietro, poi il resto viene selezionato o tutto o niente… mmm, vedrò che posso fare…
